Virginia Tech Shooter

Shooter Cho Seung-Hu returned wielding his weapons one more time and speak surreally from the grave. Cho mailed video clips and pictures to NBC headquarters in New York between the first shooting and the more deadly massacre at Norris Hall.

That would help explain one of the biggest mysteries about the massacre: where the gunman was and what he did during that two-hour window between the first burst of gunfire, at a high-rise dorm, and the second fusillade, at a classroom building. Cho was on a mission, and there's no turning back. That 2 hour window was crucial, he must have thought about it again and again but still went on to continue what he thinks need to be done.

"You have vandalized my heart, raped my soul and torched my conscience," he said into the camera, looking down occasionally from his notes. "You thought it was one pathetic boy's life you were extinguishing. Thanks to you, I die like Jesus Christ, to inspire generations of the weak and the defenseless people."

By the time the 23-year-old student had videotaped his suicide message, he knew what was to come. He hoped that a stunned and grieving nation would listen, riveted, to his words.

"I didn't have to do this. I could have left. I could have fled," he said. "But no, I will no longer run."

"It's not for me. For my children, for my brothers and sisters. ... I did it for them."

Best Friend

Today I used my Onesuite for making a long overseas call to my bestfriend. It's been awhile that's why the call lasted for almost an hour, it doesn't cost that much though because I got cheap rates from Onesuite.

OneSuite is a long distance “calling card” services, except that the calling card is online. My cousin told me about OneSuite and I've used it for a dozen times already and saves me a ton compares to using my local phone IDD rates. I also (sometimes) uses voip services like Skype for making PC to PC calls but usually when you want to talk to someone, that someone is not online. Oh by the way, Onesuite rates are even cheaper than Skype and most people thought Skype is always free.

Back to my best friend, she invited me to come over so we could catch up on each other and we have a lot of things to catch up on. It's nice to reminisce every once in a while, talk about the good times (and the few bad times too) we spent together and just spend the whole day sharing stories. I guess I have to save and cut my spendings to save up for the fare. I love to travel and try different things, but the problem most of the time is the money. I think I need to find an extra income or look for a better paying job sooner or later.

Twitterific!!!

Hmmm...I'm trying to learn about blogging when I stumbled upon this site twitter.com.

Based on the news and infos I gathered around the net, twitter will be the new medium on the internet for the ever busy individuals. It's called micro blogging and the Twitter team just won an award for blog category on the recently concluded South by Southwest Web Award.

Twitter are for those people who really doesn't have much time doing regular blogs (just like me :) ) and for those always on the go. Twitter refresh every few minutes thus you are constantly updated with infos on what your friends are doing and you can do the same thing yourself. The other good thing about twitter is, you can "twit" from your cell phone, instant messaging or from twitter.com. So no matter where you are, you are always a twitter away. GTA IV

For those of you who doesn't play computer games then you can skip this one. But for those who does, then mark this date on your calendar 10.16.07. Done? It's the release date of the long awaited Grand Theft Auto IV and some say this will be much better than San Andreas (GTA3) and it should. Visit rockstar site to view the teaser trailer of GTA IV. The graphics are just awesome and I'm just hoping now that the plot and characters are better too.
